Principal Technologist - SLED Central/East

Pure Storage is seeking a Principal Technologist to serve as a strategic technology leader, bridging the gap between product management and customers/partners. This role involves driving technical innovation and shaping product direction based on market needs. The Principal Technologist will act as a trusted advisor, demonstrating how Pure Storage's technology solves complex business challenges and influencing the company’s roadmap.

This role covers SLED accounts in the Central and East region.

Role involves:

• Serving as a technology advisor to customers and partners.
• Developing relationships with C-suite executives.
• Collaborating with sales, customer experience, and product teams.
• Representing the company at industry events.
• Providing feedback on market trends and customer pain points.
• Developing proof-of-concepts and solution architectures.
• Staying ahead of emerging technologies.
• Contributing to blogs, webinars, and whitepapers.
• Supporting field teams in technical engagements.
• Mentoring internal teams and strategic partners.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in technology leadership roles.
• Previous experience working with SLED accounts.
• Expertise in cloud computing, AI/ML, cybersecurity, or data architecture.
• Knowledge of enterprise storage solutions.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Track record of engaging with Fortune 500 enterprises.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or enterprise software solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
