Job Description
Banyan Software is seeking a Technical Product Manager for SubItUp, a cloud-based scheduling solutions provider. The Technical Product Manager will play a key role in ensuring operational availability, providing technical leadership, and driving high-quality software development. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure products. The Technical Product Manager will also be involved in strategic roadmap planning and company strategic planning.Responsibilities:
  • Lead downtime management and customer technical response.
  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to define requirements and user stories.
  • Oversee end-to-end development lifecycle.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product updates.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to software engineers.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of software development experience with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.js.
  • Experience building applications with C#, preferably Microsoft .NET Core 3.1 and/or .NET 5+ in an Azure environment.
  • Expertise in database design and optimization in MS SQL Server and MongoDB.
  • Thorough understanding of REST API development.
  • Experience writing unit/integration tests and developing applications using a Test-Driven Development approach.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
