Job Description

Appian is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join its Recruitment team. This role is vital in delivering a seamless interview experience for all candidates. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will take ownership of the logistics and scheduling aspects of the hiring process, while also building relationships with both hiring teams and candidates. This position is perfect for someone who is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a willingness to learn, and is interested in Talent Acquisition.

This role is based at Appian's headquarters in McLean, Virginia. Appian emphasizes in-person collaboration and expects employees to be in the office 5 days a week.

The role involves:

• Scheduling interviews directly with candidates and hiring managers, including phone, in-person, and remote final-round interviews.
• Providing timely correspondence with candidates regarding their recruiting status through effective follow-up via email and/or phone.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance the candidate experience and scheduling processes for efficiencies.
• Communicating and collaborating with global teams across various time zones.
• Developing and customizing templates, candidate messaging, and resources.
• Analyzing complex situations and proactively implementing solutions within the talent acquisition process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
• Relevant internship experience in areas such as recruiting coordination or human resources.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Google Docs, and Google Meet.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and quickly adapt.
• Demonstrated creativity and writing skills for crafting candidate messaging and resources.
