Job Description
Appian is seeking a Career Manager to join their Customer Success team. This role focuses on investing in and supporting the professional development and advancement of Appian's consultants. The Career Manager will shape a new program, impacting consultants’ careers and ensuring operational excellence. This position is based at Appian's headquarters in McLean, Virginia, requiring in-office presence five days a week to foster collaboration.

The role involves:
  • Developing frameworks and processes for the Career Management program.
  • Leading the execution of the program, supporting consultants' growth and skill development.
  • Serving as a trusted resource for consultants, offering guidance on career growth and performance management.
  • Driving processes through consultant interaction and engagement with stakeholders.
  • Overseeing and improving systems to develop and retain talent.
  • Aligning talent initiatives with regional needs.
  • Administering and enhancing processes for feedback and performance reviews.
  • Ensuring internal processes are efficient and well-managed.
  • Soliciting feedback to improve management and employee satisfaction.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management, or Career Counseling.
  • Experience in managing resources in a consulting or professional services organization.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Adept at navigating challenging situations.
  • Passion for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative and supportive working style.
