Job Description
Appian is seeking a Product Manager to join their Platform Engineering team in Sydney. This role focuses on the strategic vision and roadmap for critical networking infrastructure, directly impacting the reliability, security, and scalability of Appian Cloud. The Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver cloud services, ensuring a top-tier experience for enterprise users.
Role Involves:
- Prioritizing and defining infrastructure features.
- Analyzing customer use cases and technology trends.
- Presenting ideas and progress through reviews.
- Defining feature functionality through collaboration with engineers.
- Managing the release and sprint backlog.
- Writing detailed specifications for stakeholders.
- Tracking adoption and usage of new features.
- Guiding features to completion, including documentation and bug fixes.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in software engineering or computer science.
- Deep understanding of availability, scalability, resiliency, and security.
- Ability to define and drive product roadmaps.
- Strategic mindset to align customer needs into a cohesive roadmap.
- Belief in DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code.
