Appian is seeking a Director of Solutions Consulting to lead and scale a Solutions Consulting team focused on the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. This role involves shaping the technical sales strategy, building and mentoring a team of Solutions Consultants, and driving excellence in solution design and customer engagement.Appian's Solutions Consulting team is undergoing a transformation, and this leader will help bring that vision to life through mentorship and innovation.
What This Role Involves: - Leading the technical sales strategy for the DoD/Intel region.
- Recruiting, developing, and mentoring a team of Solutions Consultants.
- Overseeing SC alignment to key accounts and opportunities.
- Serving as a strategic advisor to customer stakeholders.
- Cultivating a team culture of curiosity and collaboration.
- Supporting sales campaigns and C-level presentations.
Requirements: - A passion for building and leading high-performing teams.
- Demonstrated success in the public sector.
- Experience in managing solutions consulting.
- Experience in application architecture and enterprise solution delivery.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related experience.
