Senior Analytics Engineer

Intercom, an AI Customer Service company, is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join their team. This role involves providing Intercom's business with accurate and up-to-date data tables for operational and strategic data-driven decisions. The Analytics Engineering team acts as a crucial link between Analyst teams and Data Infrastructure teams, ensuring efficient data model development and resolving data quality issues.

What this role involves:

• Designing, building, and managing scalable data pipelines and ELT processes.
• Partnering with engineering, analytics, and business teams to understand data needs.
• Leading initiatives in data model development and data quality ownership.
• Conducting in-depth data analysis and building custom models.
• Streamlining data collection and reporting processes.
• Creating scalable solutions for unified data pipelines and access control systems.
• Developing strategies for evaluating research output impact using citation metadata.

Requirements:

• Advanced SQL skills with a focus on well-architected data models and optimized query performance.
• Familiarity with the modern data stack, especially DBT and Snowflake.
