Marketplace Associate

Job Description

CookUnity is seeking a Marketplace Associate to join their team in Austin, Texas. CookUnity is a chef-to-consumer platform that connects talented chefs with food lovers, elevating the at-home dining experience. The Marketplace Associate will be responsible for various tasks related to warehouse operations and inventory management.

• Receiving shipments and checking for damages
• Sorting stock for distribution
• Keeping records of invoices
• Filling orders and preparing them for delivery
• Tracking chef ingredient requirements and returns
• Monitoring and filling shelves
• Tracking merchandise movement
• Performing weekly inventory counts

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Familiar with FIFO and food safety regulations
• Reliable with punctual and regular attendance
• Ability to operate a pallet jack (helpful)
• Experience in a food facility (helpful)
• Able to stand/walk for 8-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a cold refrigerated area (occasionally)
