Technology Manager

Job Description

Envoy is seeking a Technology Manager to lead a team of IT professionals and shape the company's internal systems architecture. This role involves partnering with operations, security, product, and finance to drive Envoy's business forward by optimizing, securing, and scaling the technology infrastructure. The Technology Manager will report to the CFO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve the role of technology enablement within each of them. This is an in-office position based in San Francisco, requiring five days a week at the HQ.Role involves:

• Leading and managing corporate IT, including the IT helpdesk team.
• Piloting new technologies to enhance internal operations and inform product development.
• Overseeing software license provisioning, management, and compliance.
• Managing employee tech onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Tracking and managing technology assets through effective inventory systems.
• Ensuring compliance with security requirements (SOC, ISO, etc.).
• Overseeing endpoint management through tools like Jamf.
• Being metrics-driven.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of IT management experience, preferably in a fast-paced technology company.
• Experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of modern IT infrastructure, security best practices, and typical enterprise applications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with asset management and procurement.
• Demonstrated ability to think creatively about technology solutions.
