Job Description
Envoy is seeking a Post Sales Solutions Engineer to join their Customer Success organization. This role is based in San Francisco and requires 4 days a week in the office. The Solutions Engineer will work closely with customer success, sales, product, engineering, and finance teams. They will assist account executives with the post-sales process, including technical demos, security reviews, and troubleshooting.

The role involves:
  • Assisting in all aspects of the post-sales process.
  • Working with customer IT, security, and legal teams.
  • Leading the implementation and integration of solutions.
  • Understanding customer business requirements.
  • Acting as a liaison between customer-facing teams and Product, Engineering, and Design teams.
  • Advocating for Envoy’s customers.
  • Educating coworkers and customers on complex technical issues.
  • Becoming well-versed in Envoy’s Developer & Integration Platform.

Requirements:
  • 5+ years in a technical solutions engineering or partner engineering role, alternatively 7+ years in a technical account management role, or 5+ years as an Implementation Engineer role
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Familiarity with git and command-line tools.
  • Understanding of APIs and API architecture.
  • Ability to write simple scripts.
  • Intro to 1+ years of Typescript development experience.
  • Excellent understanding of modern (ES6+) JavaScript.
  • Security-conscious.
