Cleo is seeking a Technical Lead (Ruby) to join their team. This role involves leading a cross-functional product squad, collaborating with engineers, designers, and analysts to develop features that enhance users' financial health. The Technical Lead will also mentor colleagues, contribute to technical strategy, and participate in product ideation. Cleo is a fast-growing unicorn company building a financial advisor app.

Responsibilities include:
  • Leading a cross-functional product squad.
  • Collaborating with senior peers to provide technical insight.
  • Mentoring colleagues and supporting their development.
  • Working on the Ruby on Rails monolith.
  • Analyzing data to identify problems and generate new ideas.
  • Supporting colleagues through in-hours support and on-call rotation (optional).
  • Contributing to cross-cutting concerns that improve engineering efforts.
  • Participating in product ideation, user research, and design reviews.

Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of industry experience using Ruby on Rails.
  • Passionate about improving the financial health of users.
