Smartling is seeking a Business Development Representative for a remote position based in Ireland. The Business Development team focuses on sourcing and engaging with high-potential prospects. This role acts as the first point of contact with potential customers, qualifying their interest and bridging the gap between marketing and sales. Smartling, founded 14 years ago, is a profitable, cloud-based, AI-enabled translation platform backed by Battery Ventures.

Role Involves:
  • Sourcing and engaging with high-potential prospects.
  • Developing and executing outreach strategies via email, zoom, and social channels.
  • Articulating Smartling’s value proposition to potential customers.
  • Qualifying prospects and handing them off to Account Executives.
  • Managing prospect and company information in Salesforce.com.
  • Maintaining in-depth knowledge of the product, competitive positioning, and industry trends.
  • Representing Smartling at industry events and conferences.
