Technical Account Manager

Job Description

Veeam, a leader in data resilience, is seeking a Technical Account Manager based in the Netherlands. This remote role involves planning, architecting, coordinating, and managing professional services engagements. The Technical Account Manager will focus on architecting and project managing availability solutions, including data protection and monitoring. They will be an expert in Data Management, Data Analytics, Business Continuity, Data Center, Cloud, Operating Systems, Networking, Storage, and Virtualization.Role involves:

• Providing input to proposals and Statements of Work
• Supporting delivery implementation and consulting services
• Providing project guidance (plans, schedules, status updates)
• Assisting with solution assessment, design, and post-installation issues
• Creating white papers, solutions guides, and custom documentation
• Delivering onsite knowledge transfer
• Documenting configurations and completed activities
• Analyzing environments and guiding optimal configurations
• Facilitating communication between client and Veeam support
• Identifying additional needs for Veeam solutions
• Providing input for process and documentation improvement

Requirements:

• VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE, or equivalent
• Prince 2, ITIL, PMP, or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree in technology
• Hands-on experience with Veeam’s Core products
• Proven Consulting and Project Management experience
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Understanding of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Experience with storage systems and technologies
• Hands-on experience with networking protocols and equipment
• Experience with traditional storage and backup architectures
• Hands-on experience with Enterprise applications
• Experience with Data Management, Data Protection, Data Analytics
• Extensive experience with Data Center, Business Continuity, and Operating Systems
• Experience managing multiple projects and accounts
• Working knowledge of Cloud technologies
• Business proficient in Dutch and English
