Job Description
Veeam, a leader in data resilience, is seeking a Marketing Category Manager. This role is responsible for establishing category goals, negotiating contracts, and managing a preferred supplier list. The Marketing Category Manager will strategically manage 3rd party spend, ensuring maximum return on investments and will collaborate with marketing, events, IT, legal, and finance departments.
Responsibilities:
  • Build strong partnerships with Business Leaders
  • Analyze 3rd party spend and develop roadmaps
  • Lead vendor contract negotiations
  • Negotiate contracts with best-in-class terms
  • Build and drive relationships with key vendors
  • Plan, draft, and execute formal RFPs
  • Provide directions and guidance for Sourcing Manager and Buyers
  • Monitor and track preferred supplier relationships
  • Identify areas for process development and/or improvement
  • Participate and contribute in S2P initiatives
  • Work with customized Reports and spend analysis
Requirements:
  • In-depth understanding of marketing procurement spend
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and professionalism
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Procurement market awareness
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent project managerial and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and leadership experience
  • Ability to facilitate and coordinate multiple deadlines
