Job Description
Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking a Technical Analyst to deliver health IT solutions. This role is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The Technical Analyst will be responsible for data conversion, interface development, and providing technical support during the implementation process. They will also be involved in installing software, carrying out solution implementations, and developing technical documentation.
Responsibilities include:
- Demonstrating proficiency with interface or data conversion development and implementation tools.
- Negotiating interface or data conversion specifications and plans with customers/vendors.
- Installing software and interface definitions on customer’s servers.
- Creating test plan templates and testing with customers/vendors.
- Providing interface and related workflow solutions.
- Developing, deploying, and testing configuration release packages.
- Assisting customers with parameterization and configuration.
- Providing technical assistance to other departments.
- Providing technical support during implementation.
- Advising clients on testing strategy and planning.
- Installing all software required for Altera solutions.
- Carrying out the implementation of Altera solutions.
- Developing technical documentation.
- Training customers and Altera staff.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field.
- 1-2 or more years of experience in related responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Willingness to work from the office.
- Excellent technical capabilities in understanding, configuring, and troubleshooting complex systems.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving approach.
- Strong analytical abilities.
- Data modeling skills.
- Ability to write SQL queries and understand complex database structures.
- Knowledge of code/scripting languages.
- Deep understanding of HL7, CCDAs, and/or XML.
- Familiarity with clinical terminology standards such as SNOMED, LOINC, ICD, etc.
