Associate Systems Analyst

Job Description

Altera, a member of the N. Harris Computer Corporation family, is seeking an Associate Systems Analyst to provide L1 & L2 support and act as the primary conductor for all vendor direct support needs. The Associate Systems Analyst will support the maintenance of existing interfaces for client facilities. The ideal candidate will possess experience with HL7 interface protocols and demonstrate the ability to learn system functionality and workflow in depth.

The role involves troubleshooting knowledge for HIS inbound & outbound interfaces and understanding healthcare-related applications, terminology, patient care environments, service needs, and priorities of patient care personnel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide L1 & L2 Support.
• Act as Primary conductor for all vendor direct support needs.
• Supports maintenances of existing interfaces.
• Troubleshooting knowledge for HIS inbound & Outbound interfaces.
• Identifying complex issues and take ownership following proper escalation procedures.
• Adhere to SLA’s also document & maintain current workflows.
• Provide daily metrics related to support, maintenances, outages as directed by leads or otherwise.
• Attend staff meeting or other mandatory training enrolled by leads for you.

Requirements:

• A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in computer science /computer applications/ETC or similar background.
• Healthcare domain experience & Hl7 working knowledge required.
• Proven experience in working with variety of different interfaces engine like (AIE, Rhapsody, Elink, Ensemble & HIE etc..).
• Strong analytical & problem-solving skills with good balance of techno-functional skills.
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills.
• Flexible & adaptable to work in 24*7 rotational environment with dynamic situations.
• Self-motivated with ability to prioritize, meet deadlines & manage changing priorities.
