QA Engineer (JMeter)

Job Description

Aperia Solutions is seeking a QA Engineer to enhance the quality of its product suite. The role involves developing testing strategies, automating functional tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The QA Engineer will work within agile teams, resolve product issues, and promote adherence to Agile, Scrum, TDD, and BDD best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain test strategies and test cases.
• Develop and optimize automated scripts using JMeter.
• Execute manual and automated testing, including regression, functional, UI, and API testing.
• Utilize and refine test frameworks for Functional Automation, Security, and Penetration Testing.
• Analyze user stories and business requirements to create detailed test scenarios.
• Lead testing efforts within agile teams and collaborate on design and code reviews.

Requirements:

• 3-4 years of QA experience with increasing responsibility.
• 1-2 years of JMeter automation experience for functional and performance testing.
• Experience with Postman, SQL/DB testing, and Splunk.
• Expertise in API and UI automation.
• Understanding of QA frameworks and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test code integration.
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP, JSON, XML, and web technologies like ReactJS.
