Galileo Financial Technologies is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join their Product Engineering Team. The Staff Software Engineer will work in our banking core as a technical reference for the team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and testing of systems and services.
- Write, test, and deploy efficient, scalable code to production.
- Ensure codebase remains easy to change and shippable.
- Participate in shaping the technical architecture.
- Deliver highly available and scalable services.
- Generate ideas for new initiatives and technologies.
- Mentor other engineers
- Communicate and collaborate with product and design
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 6+ years programming experience with Java.
- Experience with Continuous Delivery principles and techniques.
- Ability to lead and influence a team's technical direction.
- Demonstrated ability to design resilient software components.
- Advanced English level.
- Experience in the fintech or banking field is a plus.
- Experience working with managed cloud services such as AWS or Azure is a plus
- Good communication skills, adaptation to change and conflict management.
