Job Description
Brooklinen is seeking a Director of Operations to lead and refine inbound and outbound freight, fulfillment, post-purchase, and inventory management processes. This role reports to the COO and focuses on delivering an exceptional customer experience while optimizing cost and speed. The Director will manage a team of six and collaborate with various teams to achieve company goals.

What this role involves:
  • Leading and optimizing end-to-end order fulfillment processes.
  • Managing domestic and international shipping carrier strategies.
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy and storage optimization.
  • Developing and managing operational budgets.
  • Partnering with Technology teams to drive enhancements to platforms and systems.
  • Fostering a high-performing team culture.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of operations experience in freight, fulfillment, and supply chain management.
  • 5+ years of experience building, leading, and developing teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Strong financial and operational acumen.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and operational systems (OMS, WMS, ERP).
  • Deep understanding of order management across multiple sales channels.
  • Excellent analytical and negotiation skills.

Brooklinen offers:
