Job Description
Flo Health, the #1 female health app, is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to bolster its security team. This role is crucial for protecting applications and infrastructure through vulnerability management, incident response, and the implementation of security measures. The Senior Security Engineer will also contribute to developing custom tooling and embedding security best practices into the product lifecycle.
Role Involves:
- Managing and triaging vulnerabilities, driving remediation efforts.
- Implementing security measures such as WAF rules and rate limits.
- Developing and maintaining custom security tooling.
- Assisting in security assessments, threat modeling, and penetration testing.
- Improving security gates within the SDLC.
- Investigating and triaging security alerts and managing security incidents.
- Gathering and communicating threat intelligence.
- Supporting business stakeholders on cybersecurity issues.
- Generating reports for technical and non-technical staff.
Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in information security.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (or similar) and Cloudflare.
- Proficiency with Terraform or similar IaC tools.
- Solid understanding of common vulnerabilities and OWASP Top 10.
- Proficient in reading code (Python, Scala) and using Git.
- Experience with SIEM and vulnerability scanning tools.
