Insights and Strategic Research Associate Managing Consultant, Ketchum Analytics

Job Description

Ketchum Analytics is seeking a Manager, Consumer Strategic Research and Insights to tell stories through data and solve client challenges. The ideal candidate will have expertise in research techniques, including primary survey research, audience insights generation leveraging secondary databases, and omnichannel campaign evaluation. This role involves leading a team and managing projects from start to finish, as well as independently owning programs.Responsibilities include:

• Developing relationships with client and account teams.
• Overseeing and managing all aspects of a project largely independently.
• Development of original, large scale/global qualitative and quantitative research studies.
• Development of research, analytics and measurement proposals.
• Analyzing full communications programming in channels.
• Analysis and reporting of findings in a way that tells a concise, visually-appealing and clear story with the data.
• Staying up to date with trends, tools and techniques.
• Working in collaboration with other specialty teams within the agency.

Requirements include:

• 3 to 5 years of communications strategic insights, research, analytics and/or media analysis experience.
• Strong orientation toward client service and teamwork.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of the communications landscape.
• Management experience.
• The ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent client management skills.
• A team mentality and desire to collaborate with co-workers across multiple geographies.
• Strong statistical, writing, and public speaking/presentation skills.
• Strong understanding original/primary quantitative research and different secondary databases, social/media listening tools, etc.
