Job Description
Verkada is seeking a Workplace Operations Manager to join their team in New York City. This role is responsible for facilitating an exceptional office experience and providing operational support with a strong focus on customer service. The Workplace Operations Manager will collaborate with the Global Real Estate team to maintain a top-tier facility and employee experience. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong communication skills, and be able to prioritize and execute tasks effectively.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the Global Real Estate team in the local office.
  • Facilitate a delightful employee experience by providing operational support.
  • Assist in maintaining and enhancing Workplace programs.
  • Build relationships with business partners and leaders to assess team allocations and occupancy needs.
  • Provide proactive solutions and improvement ideas.
  • Maintain spatial data within the space management tool.
  • Participate in building audits.
  • Coordinate with Space Planning to maintain space standard ratios.
  • Facilitate and maintain relationships with building vendors.
  • Maintain budgets and track expenses.
  • Act as the single point of contact for building-related issues.
  • Facilitate connecting employees to Verkada Business Operations teams.

Requirements:
  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • 5+ years of management or related project management experience.
  • 5+ years of workplace services experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, FLS, plumbing, etc.) is strongly encouraged.
  • Strong financial acumen with solid understanding of budget tracking & maintenance.

Verkada offers:
  • Annual Pay Range: $125,000 - $160,000 USD
