Cost Accountant

Gotion Inc., a company focused on electric vehicle and energy storage technologies, is seeking a Cost Accountant for its manufacturing plant in Manteno, Illinois. The Cost Accountant will analyze manufacturing costs, prepare financial reports, and develop cost reduction strategies. Responsibilities:

• Analyze manufacturing costs to identify improvement areas.
• Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Develop and implement cost reduction strategies.
• Track and monitor variances between actual and budgeted costs.
• Maintain accurate records of cost accounting transactions.
• Work closely with the Cost Accounting Manager.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cost accounting.
• Experience with manufacturing cost accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
