Senior Manager, FP&A

Job Description

Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, CA, is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead corporate FP&A work and process development. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the leadership team and participate in strategic planning. The role involves analyzing financial data, identifying business trends, and partnering with functional department leads to implement core planning and analysis processes.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to build foundational financial modeling.
• Develop financial forecasts and budgets to guide decision-making.
• Perform financial scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze actuals against budget/forecast and prior year.
• Provide insights on business performance to management.
• Understand macro-economic and industry factors impacting financial performance.
• Partner with leaders to develop revenue and profitability forecasts.
• Research and analyze competitors' reports and market trends.
• Perform ad hoc analysis to assist in management decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's/MBA preferred).
• 7+ years of financial analysis and modeling experience.
• Big 4 (3+ years) and private industry experience (3+ years) strongly desired.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to analyze large datasets and build reports.
• Positive attitude and adaptability.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
