Job Description
GitLab is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join their Tenant Scale team. This team focuses on ensuring GitLab scales effectively to meet diverse customer needs, enabling collaboration for teams of all sizes. The Senior Product Manager will lead the product strategy for GitLab's Organizational framework, understanding customer needs and defining user journeys. They will collaborate with product managers and engineering leaders to deliver valuable features aligned with GitLab's strategic initiatives.
Role involves:
- Driving product strategy and execution for the Organizations experience.
- Balancing infrastructure scalability with customer needs.
- Collaborating with engineering on schedule, complexity, and scalability.
- Working with marketing to drive go-to-market activities.
- Listening to customers and creating detailed product specifications.
- Authoring and tracking progress around quarterly objectives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of product management experience with expertise in product deployment and enterprise scalability.
- Experience with SaaS product infrastructure.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts.
- Strong understanding of enterprise business organizations and international collaboration challenges.
- Track record of delivering features that balance customer experiences with business objectives.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
- Data-driven decision-making skills.
- Experience working in a globally distributed team.
- Experience with Git-based development platforms is a plus.
