Research Associate (Contractor)

Job Description

Legend Biotech is seeking a Research Associate (Contractor) to join their Research & Early Development team in Somerset, NJ. This role will utilize technical expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry and contribute to the daily operations of the lab, supporting both clinical and preclinical research. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reproducibility, and integrity of experimental data.Role involves:

• Conducting flow cytometric assays to characterize clinical, preclinical, and animal samples.
• Assisting in the development, execution, and interpretation of new assay methods.
• Maintaining thorough and accurate records.
• Supporting lab operations, including ordering and inventory management.
• Coordinating with warehouse teams for sample shipments.

Requirements:

• BS in Biology or related field with 2+ years of experience, or MS with 1+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience with flow cytometry, bioassays, immunoassays, and molecular testing platforms.
• Knowledge of preclinical development and patient sample analysis.
• Experience with LIMS, IT networks, and database systems is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and data documentation skills.
• Familiarity with analytical software such as SpectroFlo and FlowJo.
