Job Description

Grammarly is seeking an iOS Engineer to join its Clients team. This role focuses on the Grammarly Keyboard and iOS Companion App, which are technically sophisticated and widely used surfaces. The engineer will be part of a collaborative, cross-functional team that owns the full product experience.

The iOS Engineer will contribute to Grammarly’s custom iOS keyboard and companion app, tackling challenges around text input, layout rendering, system integrations, and accessibility. They will also own and enhance CI/CD pipelines, testing infrastructure, and quality-of-life tools. The engineer will partner closely with QA, Design, and Product to ensure high-quality experiences on all iOS devices and guide and mentor newcomers.

Role Involves:

• Contributing to Grammarly’s custom iOS keyboard and companion app.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience building high-quality iOS applications with Swift and UIKit.
• Experience with custom keyboards, accessibility APIs, or input methods is a plus.
• Experience working in CI/CD environments.
• Comfort with system-level debugging, memory profiling, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with dependency injection, unit testing, and release workflows.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
