Staff Solutions Architect: New Logo - San Francisco

Job Description

Temporal Technologies is seeking a Staff Solutions Architect to join their New Logo team, focusing on the San Francisco Bay area. This role involves working directly with prospects and customers to determine the suitability of their applications for Temporal’s platform and showcasing the technical advantages of their cloud service. The Staff Solutions Architect will play a crucial role in positioning Temporal against alternative technologies and helping customer engineering teams expand production applications using Temporal. They will also own the technical relationship with key decision-makers.Role involves:

• Collaborating with prospects to assess application fit for Temporal’s platform.
• Educating customers on the technical benefits and limitations of Temporal’s platform.
• Positioning Temporal as a leading solution against competing technologies.
• Fostering adoption and expansion of Temporal within customer engineering organizations.
• Partnering with Account Executives to develop and execute account plans.
• Managing relationships with technical decision-makers.

Requirements:

• Residency within the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Exceptional technical communication skills.
• Deep understanding of distributed system technologies.
• Proficiency in building application prototypes using Java, Golang, TypeScript, Python, C#, or PHP.
• Firm grasp of operational considerations in production environments.
• Ability to provide insightful advice on architectural topics.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider.
• Strategic technical advisory skills for Sales Account Executives.
