Gotion Inc. is seeking a Sales Director ESS- South America to build a functional team specialized in marketing and sales while interacting with technical personnel. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and implementing best practices for small to large BESS projects for all product lines.

The Sales Director will report to the global team, participate in industry conferences, and maintain close connections to trends in the competitive market. They will develop relationships with key technology vendors and negotiate contracts with key customers to leverage and scale Gotion’s ESS competitive position.

Role Involves:

  • Building a functional team.
  • Developing and implementing best practices for BESS projects.
  • Acting as a domain expert on BESS.
  • Developing metrics and targets for project delivery.
  • Establishing methods for tracking construction progress.
  • Participating in industry conferences.
  • Developing relationships with key technology vendors.
  • Negotiating contracts.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Development.
  • BA in Finance, Marketing, or other related Field (MBA preferred)
  • 2+ years in the energy sector, specifically ESS.
  • Excellent communication and networking skills.
  • Experience working in a startup or similar environment.
  • Global experience and an understanding of multicultural nuances.
  • Base in South America and Fremont office,CA .
