Accounting Lead

Affirm is seeking an Accounting Lead to contribute to an efficient financial reporting process. The Accounting Lead will utilize their knowledge of accounting principles and systems to drive key processes. They will work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment, applying problem-solving and communication skills to support Affirm's mission.

Responsibilities include:

• Championing intercompany operational excellence.
• Analyzing intercompany and consolidated results.
• Leading the end-to-end intercompany accounting process.
• Partnering with Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting.
• Executing accounting and reporting controls.
• Driving process improvement through automation.
• Assisting in designing and maintaining accounting policies.

Requirements include:

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Recent experience in general ledger accounting.
• Solid understanding of US GAAP.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of end to end accounting processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• NetSuite experience is preferred.
