Network Engineer

Job Description

Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, is establishing a manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL, and seeks a Network Engineer. The Network Engineer will be responsible for designing, configuring, and managing the company’s networks, ensuring optimal performance and security. This role involves network and security management, firewall and VPN management, data protection, infrastructure maintenance, and user support.

Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and manage LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Implement network upgrades and security patches.
• Develop and enforce security policies and protocols.
• Manage firewalls, VPNs, and other network security devices.
• Implement and manage data encryption, backup, and recovery solutions.
• Maintain network hardware and documentation.
• Provide technical support to employees.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• Fluency in Mandarin.
• Professional certifications (CCNA, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network and security administration.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall management.
• Experience with security technologies (IDS/IPS, antivirus, data encryption).
• Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Gotion Inc. offers:

• Base salary range of $80,000 - $120,000.
• Eligibility for bonus and benefits.
