HR Generalist

Job Description

Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, is building a manufacturing facility in Manteno, IL. They focus on electric vehicle and energy storage technologies. The company is looking for a HR Generalist to join their team.

Responsibilities involve:

• Creating onboarding plans.
• Educating newly hired employees on HR policies.
• Partnering with the business on training initiatives with local colleges.
• Handling general employee relations.
• Maintaining the confidentiality of employee information.
• Administering employee transfers, leave of absence, and changes of status.
• Filing employee personnel, medical, and work compensation documents.
• Communicating with employees about issues and concerns.
• Administering employee benefits, including health insurance, 401K, company life insurance, and PTO.

The ideal candidate should have:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 5 years’ experience in Human Resources.
• Proficiency with database applications, specifically Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively alone and prioritize.
• Strong working knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems.
• Good computer skills.
