Blackbird Clinical Services is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join their team on a contract basis. The PMHNP will provide virtual mental health services to patients aged 2-26 across Pennsylvania and Virginia. - Providing patient psychiatric evaluations, assessments, diagnosis, and medication management
- Determining and creating appropriate treatment plans
- Ordering, administering, and analyzing diagnostic tests
- Partnering with administrative team to handle refills, prior authorizations, records, and rescheduling
- Communicating and engaging with other healthcare professionals and families
- Conducting ongoing assessments of patient progress
- Maintaining thorough patient records and documentation
- Active PMHNP license in Pennsylvania
- Minimum of 2 years experience working independently as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner
- Minimum of 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults
- Board Certification by ANCC or AANP
- DEA license to prescribe, or willingness to obtain State Prescriptive Authority License
- Computer, Phone, and High-Speed Internet
- Experience with Google Suite, EHR systems, and tech knowledge
- Commitment to a minimum of 10 hours per week during core hours
- Immediate referrals available with guaranteed caseload and patient-facing hours
