VEN Centers Outreach Specialist / Phlebotomist (DT Central PHX)

Arizona Liver Health (ALH) is seeking a VEN Centers Outreach Specialist/Phlebotomist to join their team. This role is crucial in combating viral hepatitis in Arizona by providing direct patient care and removing obstacles to treatment. The Outreach Specialist will work with VEN Centers, powered by ALH, to deliver innovative strategies for Hepatitis C virus (HCV) treatment and cure.

Role involves:

• Coordinating with health departments and community groups for outreach.
• Conducting outreach to high-risk communities.
• Providing education and risk reduction plans.
• Completing patient testing for Viral Hepatitis and STIs.
• Conducting psychosocial assessments.
• Supporting patients in starting and adhering to treatment.
• Maintaining patient records and reports.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications and EMR systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of public health practices related to HIV, HCV, and STIs.
• Phlebotomy experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

This position requires 50-75% travel to pop-up sites and offers a salary of $50,000 to $65,000 per year.
