Job Description
Workato is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join their expanding team in Japan. This role involves building and executing a territory plan targeting mid-market customers across Japan, focusing on new business sales both directly and through channel partners. The Senior Account Executive will report directly to the Japan General Manager and partner with SDR, partner sales, and marketing teams based locally. They will also act as a strategic advisor to C-Level executives, helping them maximize the potential of automation and integration.

Responsibilities include:
  • Building and executing a territory plan targeting mid-market customers across Japan.
  • Focusing on new business sales, selling directly and with/through channel partners.
  • Partnering with SDR, partner sales and marketing teams.
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to C-Level executives.

Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of Enterprise Software Sales experience with a SaaS or PaaS vendor.
  • Proven ability to generate new business sales.
  • Ability to communicate with senior executives up to C-level.
  • Comfort presenting key client issues and advocating for the customer.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Japanese.
