Job Description
JD Sports Fashion, founded in 1981, is a leading multi-channel retailer of sports and outdoor fashion in the UK and Europe. With over 2,400 stores, the group is focused on various retail segments and prides itself on offering customers the latest products from top brands. They are seeking an Assistant Manager for their store in Lagundo, Italy.
The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Store Manager and supports the leadership and management of the store.
Role Involves:
- Ensuring the achievement of commercial objectives and the constant growth of KPIs.
- Managing costs and optimizing store profitability through increased sales strategies.
- Assisting the Store Manager in the optimal management of staff within the store.
- Carrying out staff recruiting activities in collaboration with the Store Manager.
- Developing and motivating staff and promoting career progression within the group.
- Ensuring the quality of customer service in compliance with procedures.
- Managing complaints effectively and professionally.
- Ensuring the good general presentation of the store in collaboration with the visual merchandising team.
- Managing the entry and exit of goods.
- Actively participating in the prevention and control of losses in accordance with the Store Manager.
- Ensuring the daily management of cash register operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in managing structured points of sale, preferably in dynamic and multinational contexts.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Leadership and good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Office package (Outlook, Word and Excel).
