Job Description
ZipRecruiter is seeking a Director of Product, Growth, and Search to lead the strategy and execution for expanding its job seeker base. This role involves driving user acquisition cost-effectively and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Director will optimize existing growth channels, experiment with new strategies, and establish clear success metrics. They will also oversee the end-to-end search experience for job seekers.
This is a player/coach role, requiring leadership of a team of product managers and hands-on involvement.
Role Involves:
- Developing and prioritizing strategies to increase job seeker registrations.
- Optimizing SEO and paid acquisition channels.
- Improving the end-to-end search experience.
- Managing a team of product managers.
- Collaborating with engineering, marketing, and data teams.
- Balancing high-level strategy with hands-on execution.
- Driving a culture of experimentation and iteration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to work in Eastern or Central Time zones.
- 8+ years of product management experience.
- 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams focused on growth or search.
- 2+ years of experience managing product managers.
- Experience working on search, matching, and/or Machine Learning products.
- Strong analytical mindset.
- Highly organized, structured thinker.
