Program Manager

Job Description

Gotion Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to lead programs from Request for Information (RFI) or Request for Quotation (RFQ) through six months after Start of Production. The Program Manager will ensure customer satisfaction, achieve program objectives (Timing, Quality, Cost, and Delivery), and maintain profitability throughout the program lifecycle. This role will be based in Fremont, California.Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage strong customer relationships.
• Prepare and submit RFQs to Management.
• Build the initial Business Plan and define the Program investment scheme.
• Track progress by updating Business Plan, Program Dashboard and Budget Reports.
• Conduct Risk/Opportunity analysis and implement action plans.
• Arbitrate conflicts with the customer on financial and/or technical issues.
• Staff, manage, and coordinate a cross-functional program team.
• Ensure processes defined in the Gotion Global Product Program Management System (PMS) are applied.
• Organize communications throughout the program lifecycle.
• Ensure smooth program transfer from Development Center to Production Plant.
• Organize key program information to ensure Program continuity and contribute to knowledge management.

Requirements:

• Fluency in English & Mandarin.
• Master's degree in engineering or program management.
• Minimum 4-7 years of job experience in a relevant industrial environment.
• Minimum 3-5 years of project experience.
• Results orientation and strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Conflict management skills.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization.
• Good knowledge of PM-Process and Program standards, tools, and methods.
• Strong financial knowledge (incl. building and following a Business Plan).
• Problem-solving techniques, strategic and analytic capabilities, and planning and organizing abilities.
• Willingness to do oversea travelling.
