Technical Program Manager, Cell Product

Job Description

Gotion Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead US OEM customer projects in cell product development. The Technical Program Manager will spearhead initiatives from concept through to production, working closely with customers and the headquarter cell team. This role requires a strong engineering background and project management skills in the battery cell technology sector.

Responsibilities:

• Directly engage with US OEM customers, coordinating cell development and manufacturing.
• Manage projects from conception to production handover.
• Develop detailed manufacturing program plans, defining strategy, scope, schedule, resources, and cost targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align the manufacturing program with objectives.
• Create, maintain, and communicate project schedules to engineering leadership.
• Identify innovative solutions to overcome project obstacles.
• Prioritize and track the progress of cross-functional team tasks.

Requirements:

• Master’s Degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge and strong industry experience in lithium-ion battery cell technology.
• Minimum of 5 years in product development or manufacturing, with a mix of engineering and project management roles.
• Demonstrated ability to manage engineering projects for mass-produced products.
• Proficiency in project management tools like JIRA, Microsoft Project, and Confluence.
• Ability to work effectively across functions and manage large teams.
• Willingness to travel as required for project needs.
