Job Description
Gotion Inc. is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to contribute to the development and oversight of the commissioning process for Gotion Energy Storage Systems. This role involves managing relationships with EPCs and O&M partners, training them on Gotion products, and ensuring cost-effective and efficient commissioning of project deployments. The ideal candidate will support project management, review designs, and develop technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and document the commissioning process for Gotion Energy Storage Systems.
- Oversee commissioning at customer sites, including Fire Suppression and HVAC testing.
- Train customer teams on commissioning processes.
- Manage Utility scale EPC’s and O&M relationships.
- Manage commissioning and acceptance testing for Gotion project deployments.
- Support project management and project engineering.
- Travel to client or project sites up to 50% of the time.
- Develop technical documentation to support commissioning and O&M activities.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in renewable energy project commissioning or performance testing.
- Strong understanding of SCADA communication protocols such as Modbus and DNP3.
- Resourceful team player capable of collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to coordinate with external stakeholders.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required, Electrical Engineering experience preferred.
