Job Description
Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, CA, is seeking a Sales Director to build a functional team specializing in marketing and sales. This role involves interacting with technical personnel internally and externally to develop and implement best practices for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects across various product lines. The Sales Director will act as a domain expert on BESS, participate in industry events, and develop relationships with key vendors.
Responsibilities Include:
- Building a marketing and sales team.
- Developing and implementing best practices for BESS projects.
- Acting as a BESS domain expert.
- Tracking construction progress and identifying new market opportunities.
- Negotiating contracts with customers, partners, and vendors.
Requirements Include:
- 5+ years of experience in Business Development
- BA in Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 2+ years in the energy sector, specifically ESS
- Excellent communication and networking skills
- Experience in a startup or similar environment
- Global experience and understanding of multicultural nuances
