Job Description
Simtra BioPharma Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to represent and manage commercial customers. This role involves ensuring milestone requirements are met according to project specifications, balancing cost, resources, and time. The Project Manager sets customer expectations, maintains effective communication, and mitigates risks. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Commercial Programs in Bloomington, Indiana.
Responsibilities include:
- Key customer interaction during planning and manufacturing
- Service recovery and customer satisfaction
- Customer communication
- Enforcement of contractual obligations and operating principles
- Serving as the primary contact for ongoing commercial client projects
- Participating in continuous improvement activities
- Leading team meetings and ensuring clear actions are documented
- Meeting and discussing customer forecasts and demand planning
- Ensuring financial obligations are assessed and collected
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or scientific discipline
- Minimum of 3 years in project management or account management
- Experience in manufacturing and/or pharmaceutical sector
- Knowledge of Project Management tools
- PMP certification desired
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and enterprise software
