Job Description
Ethos is seeking a Customer Engagement Associate to join their team in Bangalore. Ethos's goal is to provide a world-class customer experience by understanding customer needs and re-positioning products to maximize value. This role involves engaging current Ethos customers, some of whom may be at risk of leaving, and ensuring they are taking advantage of everything Ethos has to offer.

The role involves:
  • Engaging customers through various outbound communication mediums.
  • Making outbound calls to customers who have requested to cancel policies.
  • Understanding customers’ needs and helping them understand how Ethos addresses those needs.
  • Advocating for the customer and working cross-functionally when required.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of Ethos products.
  • Identifying common customer challenges and helping find appropriate solutions.

Requirements:
  • Excitement for a customer-facing role.
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer support, customer success, operations, or a related role.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Life Insurance license or willingness to get licensed.
  • Proficiency working with Salesforce or equivalent software.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and drive to solve problems.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Grit and adaptability to change.
  • Excellent phone presence and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with various departments.
