Job Description
Gotion Inc., based in Silicon Valley, CA, is seeking a Sales Manager ESS to build a functional team specialized in marketing and sales, interacting with technical personnel. The Sales Manager will develop and implement best practices for BESS projects, act as a domain expert, and review financial considerations. They will also develop metrics, track construction progress, and participate in industry events. The role involves negotiating contracts and establishing methods for acquisition opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Build a functional team for marketing and sales.
- Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects.
- Act as a domain expert on BESS.
- Develop metrics and targets for continuous improvement.
- Establish methods for tracking construction progress.
- Negotiate contracts with customers and partners.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development.
- BA in Finance, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 2+ years in the energy sector, specifically ESS.
- Excellent communication and networking skills.
- Experience in a startup or similar environment.
- Global experience and understanding of multicultural nuances.
