Job Description
Life360 is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their Accounting Operation group. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical and operational accounting skills and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role involves leading a team, managing partnerships, and ensuring timely and accurate month-end close activities in accordance with accounting and reporting requirements.
Role Involves:
- Providing direction, oversight, and coaching to accounting staff.
- Leading monthly financial close activities.
- Reviewing monthly journal entries and reconciliations.
- Driving process improvements and optimizing efficiencies.
- Providing GAAP guidance and accounting research.
- Leading the company’s annual audit.
- Collaborating with Financial Reporting, FP&A, and external partners.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting experience in software and/or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in NetSuite preferred.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to set priorities and handle multiple tasks.
- Solid analytical skills.
- Strong background in accounting, finance, business processes, and internal control evaluation.
