Senior/Staff Java Trading Developer, Liquidity Platform

Job Description

OKX is seeking a Senior/Staff Java Trading Developer to join its Liquidity Platform team in Hong Kong. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining critical trading infrastructure microservices and the core strategy engine. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions, as well as analyzing and troubleshooting complex technical issues.OKX offers a competitive total compensation package, L&D programs, team-building events, wellness and meal allowances, and comprehensive healthcare schemes.Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a wide range of critical trading infrastructure microservices.
• Develop and maintain the core strategy engine.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize software solutions.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in software development.

Requirements:

• Solid STEM education background.
• 5+ years of software development experience, with at least 1 year in Java.
• Strong proficiency in English, both in writing and speaking.
• Strong work ethic and ownership.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and K8s is a plus.
• Knowledge of market microstructure of crypto trading is a plus.
• Past professional experience with Python is a plus.
