Job Description

OKX is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to join their Singapore team. This role involves full lifecycle management of enterprise-level hybrid cloud infrastructure, leading unified orchestration, operations, and cost optimisation of AWS and Alibaba Cloud resources, ensuring high availability, high performance, and compliance.

The Senior Staff Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Planning, deploying, monitoring, and maintaining AWS and Alibaba Cloud services.
  • Designing highly available, auto-scaling cloud architectures.
  • Implementing full-stack monitoring and alerting.
  • Leading critical incident response and performing root cause analysis.
  • Analysing cloud resource usage and reducing costs.
  • Implementing cloud security baselines and conducting regular security audits.
  • Collaborating with development teams to optimize application architectures.
  • Documenting operational procedures and leading internal technical training sessions.

OKX requires candidates to have:

  • Mastery of core services on AWS or Alibaba Cloud.
  • Proficiency in Linux/Windows system operations and automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with containerized operations and cloud-native technologies.
  • 5+ years of operations experience, with at least 3 years focused on public cloud environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or Alibaba Cloud ACP/ACE certifications (preferred).
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or related fields.
