Job Description
Anaplan is seeking a Senior Counsel, Commercial Contracts to join their Global Legal team. This role will support Anaplan's sales growth in the Americas region by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of agreements, with a focus on cloud services and SaaS agreements. The Senior Counsel will also provide commercial and general legal advice to the business, build cross-functional relationships, and contribute to improving the legal team's efficiency.Role involves:
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements.
  • Providing legal advice to internal stakeholders.
  • Building relationships with Security, Privacy, and Finance teams.
  • Reviewing and negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers.
  • Improving efficiency in legal processes.
  • Delivering training to Sales on contract negotiation.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of relevant working experience.
  • Law Degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in the U.S.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and contract drafting skills.
  • Experience in negotiating SaaS agreements and other technology agreements.
  • Knowledge of intellectual property laws.
