Engineering Manager - Workflows

Typeform is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead, develop, and empower engineers within the Workflows team. This team focuses on building AI-powered features like Copilot, dynamic content, and workflow automation. The Engineering Manager will foster a high-performance engineering culture, ensuring fast-paced, high-quality delivery.Responsibilities include:

• Leading and mentoring engineering teams of 5-8 engineers.
• Collaborating with Product Managers to define roadmaps and ensure timely execution.
• Establishing and refining software development best practices.
• Identifying opportunities for cross-team collaboration and process optimizations.
• Reviewing technical designs and providing guidance.
• Representing engineering needs to stakeholders.
• Cultivating an inclusive engineering culture.

Requirements:

• Strong track record of managing engineering teams in a SaaS or tech environment.
• Experience working with cloud-based products and managing legacy code.
• Ability to balance technical innovation with business needs.
• Experience breaking down complex projects into iterative milestones.
• Deep understanding of engineering best practices and delivery methodologies.
• Comfortable working with distributed teams.
• Strong communication skills.
