Project Specialist

Job Description

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a Project Support Specialist to support Biospecimen Solutions internal teams. The Project Support Specialist will collaborate with project delivery teams to oversee operational execution and maintain communication with clients and the Business Development team. Role involves:

• Acting as a liaison between project delivery teams, customers, and the BD team.
• Managing Outlook inboxes for new Purchase Orders and order fulfillment feedback.
• Creating and maintaining Sales Orders within Ascent, ensuring accuracy.
• Assisting in project tracking and coordinating resourcing.
• Supporting the management of commercial and biomaterial contracts.
• Coordinating investigations to resolve data discrepancies.
• Assisting in achieving on-time, on-budget, and on-scope deliverables.
• Maintaining dashboards and timelines.
• Monitoring status and performance and reporting on key performance metrics.
• Contributing to the improvement of SOPs and applying process improvement methods.
• Maintaining broad visibility across customer relationships and monitoring their health.
• Maintaining good communication with individuals across functional groups.
• Assisting in resolving discrepancies related to purchase orders, invoices, or vendor payments.
• Administrating and coordinating complaint handling.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or 2-4 years of related experience in project management and/or customer coordination.
• Customer service demeanor, flexibility, teamwork, and attention to detail.
• Experience organizing teams, building timelines, and tracking performance metrics.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• High self-motivation and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to resolve project-related problems and prioritize workload.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency with work communication and collaboration tools, e.g., Microsoft Teams (preferred).
• Proficiency with Salesforce, Smartsheet, IMS or LIMS/LIS, e.g., BSI (preferred).
